There are many ways to print digital photos onto quality canvas printings. Photogonia has gathered some information for you before you decide on how to print photo on canvas your own photos.

Repligraph (CRA Production)

Is a dye printing process on canvas. Prints are made from negatives, so a computer cannot be a part of the process. It is extremely durable, estimated to last over one hundred years, 100! The dye uses oil paint, and therefore best for reproducing oil paintings, and has great quality canvas printing results.

Digitograf (CRA Production)

This is a revolutionary process of printing. The inks used have oil base DG-Gel finishing, and this is mainly what is referred to as Digitograf. It is even more durable than Repligraph. Oil paintings can be reproduced using this quality canvas printing method to look almost perfectly like the original.

IRIS

IRIS printers have been around since 1987, and are still at the forefront of fine art printing technology. Their large format canvas inkjet printing use vegetable-based dye that is perfect for reproducing watercolor paintings. Printings should have a UV coat to protect from fading.
